This is a fabulous blowdryer. I've had it for nearly 2 years and it is still going strong (versus the two straighteners that I've had in that period)
It doesn't seem to be so damaging and I love how the nose is a bit smaller than other blowdryers and also comes with an attachment. The filters do pop off sometimes but that is the only problem I've had.
The only complaint really is that when I got this, it only came in one color. Now it comes in five!! (red, white, pink, black, & the original black/red) Would've loved it in pink :(

It's great. It's quiet and it makes my hair shiny. It was a little bit expensive for a hair dryer but right now I think it's worth it.

I have short hair and love the Elchim hair dryer. I've used it continuously for over a month now and really like the way it handles and dries my hair. I can create styles from soft waves to spikes because the dryer sends such an even blast of hot air, concentrating at the roots. Slower dryers cause over-working of the hair because by the time the hair is dry there is simply no style left... it's been pushed, turned and brushed so much it's just limp and lifeless. Not so with the Elchim. I can just use my fingers, a styling brush or no brush at all to achieve a great look. It cuts the time I spend getting ready for work in half. I don't know about you, but a little extra time in the morning is a nice thing. The Elchim is a bit expensive, but worth it. Based on other reviewers' comments, I never wrap the cord around the unit, just snake it back into the drawer bending the cord in the same way it was shipped. If I had the space, I would probably hang the dryer by the hook that is part of the unit. I like it. Good product.

This is the best hair dryer I have ever bought. It has cut my drying time in half and it is so much quieter than any other dryer I have ever used. It was worth every penny!!!!!

I bought this hairdryer at the suggestion of my hairdresser. I have always used the cheap, drug store dryers. I like the performance of the dryer; however it's heavy and hard for me to maneuver when I'm trying to dry and use the round brush in the back.. Another annoying thing is that when I am trying to dry/round brush the back of my hair, the way the button is placed, I invariably hit it with my thumb/hand and turn it off.. I am able to dry my hair straighter with it, though. So, I use my cheap old dryer most days and use this one when I really want to work and make my hair look its best.
